Measuring 8.5" x 10" this little sachet pillow was created using a cross stitch center with a pictoral of garden gate & wall which leads to a cottage tucked in the background.  Above the gate is a rose arbor which also falls upon the left side of the stone wall.  Everything about this cross stitch I LOVE!   
 
Colors of bright mustard yellow, iris purple, white, pink, wine, ivy green, brown, tan, grass green, brick red, black, gold & mint can be found throughout.  
 
In keeping with a cottage theme but not pridictable in color, I chose to pair the needlework with a brick red & tan fabric on the corners and a black and tan scroll work on the outer border & the entire back of the sachet.  A sweet little ruffle rounds out the lil sachet.  Inside I've tucked a pouch of ALLSPICE and it is so yummy.  I love the smells that remind me of fall nights or holiday cooking.
